New nicotine formulations : What are they?

Health Canada's recent decision to limit the maximum content of nicotine to 20mg/ml creates a need for users who were used to much higher nicotine levels (35mg/ml, 50mg/ml, etc.). In reaction to this change, several manufacturers are now putting forward an alternative product for these consumers: hybrid nicotine.

Hybrid nicotine is generally composed of different nicotine salts and, for some manufacturers, free-base nicotine. The manufacturing process varies from a manufacturer to another, but the goal is always the same: to emulate the throat hit of now prohibited higher nicotine levels, while respecting the law and the 20mg limit of nicotine per milliliter.

Although Montreal Original did not previously offer such high nicotine contents, our company mission is to put forward innovative products that always meet better the needs of smokers and electronic cigarette users.

We are therefore putting forward our hybrid nicotine, composed of free-base nicotine and nicotine salts, to ensure that these consumers who will be looking for a new alternative do not return to cigarettes.
